Remake for a soundtrack.

Okay, Jennifer’s FAMOUS SUNDAY BLOG! or Novella, whatever. I need to go get my nails done Gurl let me tell you! LOL! It has been one of those weeks for damns sure. Sunday is my fav day of the week, and my Sunday Mood is always unpredictable. It doesn’t mean it ruins my day to tell you to get the hell away from me today and stay! I sit my ass on this couch and watch movies. I watch a lot I have on tape or DVD. Special ones. No, not all chick flicks either. Kill Bill 1 & 2 is not considered a chick flick unless your a chick like me;} It’s how I wanted my 2nd marriage to end! NOT kidding. IF they got brave enough to come in the house for a really important reason, they did so with caution, and stealth. I am not a huge fan of TV, matter of fact, outside of sports there are two shows I like and rarely watch those anymore.  I love movies.  Movies are an escape and the music that goes with it is SO important!  Some of THE best music I have ever heard has been off of a soundtrack.  I bet that there are songs on your fav list that were probably at one time on a soundtrack.  My kids and I always watched movies and would do trivia on the music and who had played in whatelse already;}  We had fun!  I won most of the time;}-  I’m old, I knew more, lol.  Not old.  Just 40;} Anyway, they learned how to listen to music and thank God both of them were born with a passion as deep as mine for music!  That will help them so much as it did me.  And I know them well enough to know when they are tuned out and have their headphones on to just let them be….I know that’s what I want.  But it seems like everytime I put them on my head, EVERYONE needs me.  I’m like, “Hello.  These plastic things in my ears, COVERING YOUR SOUND, means I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face lip syncing!”  Aaaarrrgghhh!  Besides the fact that I always get them back broke if I get them back at all.
Great songs come of soundtracks.  We all look at ourselves and want to see a celebrity.  We see a movie that we connect with and true music lovers are listening instead of just watching, the soundtrack makes such a huge difference in scenes, it’s unreal.  You can ruin a movie or a song that way and the song, if really good, will die righ there, at the soundtrack.  It’s really sad.  One of the most amazing soundtracks I can think of is by Queen for the movie Highlander.  Aerosmith, first number one after all those great songs, soundtrack songs gets them a #1.  Why?  Because the masses loved the movie too.  It is associated with a great love of a great movie that hits the heart of the US. What if it was our last day? We only had hours? I have looked into these movies and seen so many traits of myself in one way or another in different situations sometimes, sometimes the same, but always the feeling that “she” knows exactly how you feel and you are not alone. Sometimes it makes me want to contact the write and go, “Hey!? Are you watching me?” Even songs, I think the writer has opened up my brain in the middle of my slumber and took pieces out. My life is a quilt of musical pieces that only I know the meaning, for me, too. It is very hard on a lot of movies that don’t hype up their soundtrack that will be hard as hell for you to find, believe me!! But you can do it and when you get the full version from the tiny piece that caught your ear in this movie, you will not be able to get it out, you’ll have to know what it is by who and where can I download or buy it!? I’ve been putting up a few artist that have caught my attention this way. Grabbed it and said, listen, and i did.

I live in the Southern US so if you have kept up with it, we have had horrible weather and I have been sick and not out of the house much at all! I have cabin fever, empty cabinets, a thirteen yr old hanging over the back of my couch laying on my Pit Bull Rose (the SWEETEST dog God ever put on this earth) and yes, I am writing so I have my shitty headphones on that the 13 yr old broke. It is raining outside like pouring it out of a boot and I live on the downhill side, and we are supposed to get this for a few days so I’ll be seen out in the boat, paddling to the store. It was really bad when it was freezing, I had a skating rink in front of my door, no kidding man. I know I have to get out of here and go get a haircut, I scared the hell outta myself when I got out of the shower. I looked like Mick Mars. Dude scares me, always has. My frown lines look like his chopped Fu Man Chu and my hair was JUST like his. I flipped up in the mirror and screamed! These are the stages of my life. In my thirties it was Yoko Ono. Twenties was great, I had Eddie Van Halen hair going on! Hell yeah! Couldn’t have it in High School when I wanted it! As I have found out, your hair changes all the time so there is hope for everyone! Okay, so here is my top ten list of movie soundtrack rating, 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest.

Peace, Jen
