It’s the year of the Tiger and I’ve instructed all my bloggers to go out and get tiger tattoos. While they get that done, I’ll list the top ten songs with the word Tiger in the title. Criteria: I have to like them… and this time, it’s a countdown.

9. Tiger in the Sun – The Cult – Anything the Cult does is alright by me.

8. Tiger in my Tank – Eels – Mark Oliver Everett could make any song sound cool.

7. Tiger By My Side – Empire of the Sun – From Walking on the Sun on which the best song is Walking on the Sun but this tune is pretty good, too.

6. Tiger the Lion – Tragically Hip – Fuck CanCon, I love Gord Downie.

5. Tony the Tiger – Manchester Orchestra – What? Everyone’s allowed a little emo-esque pop crap, no?

4. Ride the Tiger – Jefferson Starship – Jefferson anything is all kinds of awesome.

3. Neon Tiger – Killers – This song makes me feel like traveling.

2. Tiger Whitehead – Johnny Cash – Just because it’s off a Kid’s album, doesn’t mean it’s not Johnny Cash.

1. Eye of the Tiger – Survivor – Look me straight in the eye, keep a straight face and tell me this isn’t the absolute most rockinest song in all history with the word Tiger in the title.
