I heard a Silverchair song on the tuner today and it got me wondering what the lovely Daniel Johns, target of my many teenage affections, looks like these days. I gotta say it was a little disappointing. I mean, the man is beautiful, but in a less strapping hot man way and a more he’d-make-a-good-mascara-commercial way. Right? Kinda village people crossed with creepy sex offender dilly? With really nice bone structure? He looks like he should have graced the 70s with his presence and been named Larry. Anyway. It got me thinking, which rock n’ roll guys are the hottest? I know! Totally deep, right? And you wonder why I didn’t finish a philosophy degree…

In a VERY particular order, my top ten rock hotties:

	1. Drummer John – Creator of this blog and my baby daddy. I know I’m kinda biased but who can resist the incessant hook ‘em horns and trademark goatee. Plus, have you ever seen him play the drums? He’s mine ladies, mine. Back off, get your own sandwich.
	2. Chris Cornell – ZOMG, am I right? Come on. What do you say about a man this beautiful? And on top of that, he can sing like nobody’s business. I heart Chris Cornell 4ever.
	3. Damon Albarn – Baby-faced lead singer for Blur and Gorillaz. I dunno, he has this sometimes ugly, sometimes hot look about him. Like it totally depends on which day you catch him. But when he’s hot, he’s seriously hot.
	4. Jared Leto – remember when he was Jordan Catalano on My So Called Life? Yeah you do. That’s all you cared about when they cancelled the show and all you’ve dreamed about since.  Now he has some band… whatever, he’s hot.
	5. Brandon Flowers – Frontman for the Killers. He’s the Hot Fuss they were talking about.
	6. Gavin Rossdale – He’s so pretty he’s almost a chick.
	7. Scott Weiland – In that strung out, don’t-give-a-f%ck kinda way. And the dancing… the dancing.
	8. Eddie Vedder – I love this guy in and out. I don’t listen to Pearl Jam all that much, but this man is a loveable soul.
	9. James Hetfield – He’s got that nobody-better-lay-a-finger-on-my-butterfinger, i’m-gonna-bleep-you-up type look that is just so irresistible. Kinda like Reagan in the Exorcist.
	10. Michael Stipe – I’ve always been a huge REM fan. Stipe isn’t necessarily traditionally hot, but he’s a yummy guy nonetheless.

If this had been the most beautiful men in rock, I would have included Kurt Cobain, but I dunno, I never really found him hot, per se. Honorable mentions go to: Sufjan Stevens, Caleb Followill and Chino Moreno. Although Stevens is more folk than rock, but whatever. Who did I miss? Post in the comments!
