Blyper is a new service that will keep you up to date on your favorite artists, letting you know when they release a new album or single. You can add the artists you’ve scrobbled on Last.fm as well, making it a lot easier for you to add a lot of artists. You must register for a free account in order to get notified and you can choose between only being notified when a new release is coming, or once per month or once per week. You can choose as well, not to be notified of certain types of releases such as live recordings and compilations. You can also create Blyper links for any artist so that your blog readers or web site visitors can keep up to date on them as well. Here’s one for the Deftones:
